The Program.

The full program for the 2025 Youth Nuclear Peace Summit is now available, including detailed schedules for Day 1 (Thursday, October 30) and Day 2 (Friday, October 31).

An additional document, Information for Out-of-Town Guests, provides details on accommodation, transportation, and meal arrangements to help plan your stay in Winnipeg.

Side Events.

Two side events will take place at the University of Manitoba on Thursday, October 30th:

“Advocacy for Humanity” (12:00–1:30 PM, Robson Hall) features Dr. Ira Helfand, speaking on how civil society advocacy can advance nuclear disarmament, environmental protection, and global justice.

“Developments in Law and Norms of Nuclear Disarmament” (7:30 PM, St. Paul’s College) features Seth Shelden, who will be discussing the evolving international legal frameworks for disarmament.

Please note: Summit participants who wish to attend the afternoon side event will have transportation provided to and from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Participants who wish to attend the evening side event will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue.
